Collie to Dwellingup (128 km/80 mi)

I have now made it to Dwellingup and only have one more section to complete the Bibbulmun Track. Dwellingup is another lumber town with loads of history. In 1961 there was a huge bushfire that came through Dwellingup and burnt the entire town down. It was devastating but miraculously no lives were lost. The town has since been rebuilt. There were also POW camps around this part of Australia during WW2. Australians love off-roading and have some of the best 4×4 trails! In fact, the trail has hikers walking along many of them. Well, next stop Kalamunda (Perth). This is the longest stretch and will probably take me 8 days. I’m feeling great and can’t believe I’ve already walked close to 500 miles! I’m 2 days ahead of schedule so I should have some time to mess around in Perth before heading to San Diego to start the PCT. I’ll update you all from Perth.
